As health copywriter, my task here was to write email copy that a London-based doctor could use for their new subscriber email sequence.

The copy in this particular email needed to issue a clear offer and ‘‘sell’’ the doctor’s free trial, which is aimed at health practitioners who want to scale their private practice.

SOLUTION ➡️

Copywriting for email marketing — the final product.

 

Copy: Concise, action-driven. The purpose of this email copywriting example was to encourage readers to sign up to the free trial. A sense of urgency is promoted without being too pushy. Language such as ‘‘I’m here to help’’ and ‘‘what was your biggest takeaway from the book so far?’’ build rapport. This is balanced with action-driving content such as ‘‘sell the skill-sets you’ve worked so hard to develop’’ and ‘‘problem-solve any issues you’ve had with expanding your business.’’

Design: Formatted, easy-to-read. Bold type is used to place emphasis on the most important parts of the copy, for people who prefer to skim-read. Italics are used for the eBook title. Bullets are included to clearly list the benefits that the reader will get by going ahead with the offer.

Big idea being expressed: Sign up for the free trial if you want to access insider knowledge pn how to sell more effectively.
