“Hey, buy this blog writing package now!” is how some writers may begin a page like this…

So, instead, let me be courteous for a minute.

6 Ways a Health Writer Can Help Your Brand Grow in The Next 6 Months…

Deliver on a content marketing plan

  • Really, content marketing is about your audience.

  • Many brands have these awesome plans of how they’re going to scale, but actually executing on these plans is hard. It takes consistent, long-term work.

  • A health writer will be on the front line, creating content that will a) attract the kind of customers you want, and b) educate and entertain these customers to make them emotionally invest in your brand.

Make your website shine

  • Health brands need a professional, appealing website as a “gateway” for their audiences.

  • You only have a few seconds to grab a site visitor’s attention, so we need to communicate your message VERY clearly in those first few seconds. What makes you unique? What value can you offer the site visitor?

  • A health copywriter will ensure you use those precious first few seconds wisely. They can also level-up the copy throughout your site, such as product descriptions, about pages, and contact prompts.

Shortcut growth with ads

Level-up your testimonials

  • We all know about the power of testimonials. But there are “meh” testimonials and “wow!” testimonials out there.

  • Case studies take this one step further by telling a story, often of a customer journey. This is a fantastic option for “social proof.”

  • A health writer can support you with writing the key parts of a case study: catchy headline, overview, key problem/s, solution/s, summary, and quotes from the customer.

Email marketing goodies

  • Email isn’t going away anytime soon. It’s still one of the “big hitters” in terms of marketing.

  • The words and formatting you choose to use will make or break your emails.

  • Typically, 80% of people will view your subject lines, while only 20% will click into the email. From that point, around 2-3% actually click a link in your email.

  • With a background in health and wellness, writers in this industry will have a baseline understanding of your customers’ needs and pain points. In an email, you usually have 100-500 words to connect with the customer. Let a health writer take this task on for you.

Social media campaigns

  • WAY too many health & wellness brands create their social media accounts, but soon lose momentum. Their “last posted” date is 1 month ago, then 3 months ago, then a year ago.

  • Social media growth is all about consistency and engagement with your target customers.

  • Consider hiring a health writer to create a purpose-built social media campaign for you, whether you need a batch of Instagram posts, tweets, or video scripts for YouTube.
